A quiet lakeside estate became a health precinct, and the housing followed, apartments, terraces and compact detached homes built for a workforce that wanted to live close to the job. Will replacing the builder’s robe affect my new home warranty?
Cabinetry we install is our work and carries our 7-year workmanship warranty. Replacing a robe fit-out does not normally affect structural or waterproofing warranties, because we do not alter the frame or the wet areas, we fix into existing noggins and spread the load. If you are inside your defects liability period, we will put our scope in writing for your builder.
Do you quote differently for an investment property?
Yes, and we think you should ask us to. Rentals want durable, easily cleaned finishes and hardware we can service years later rather than premium door fronts. Owner-occupiers are better off spending the same money on internals and drawers they use every day. We will price both if you want to compare.
Can you fit a proper wardrobe into a small apartment bedroom?
Usually better than a flat-pack can. Fixed modules come in set widths, so a narrow room loses space to filler panels. We build to your measurement, take the carcass to the ceiling, and use sliding or bi-fold doors where a hinged door would foul the bed.
Can you work while I’m on shift?
